i have personally heard one of the receptionists lying to people on the phone when they call in saying there is only 1 doctor working today call again tomorrow but then to the people in the waiting room saying there is 2 doctors working this was not a mistake as i heard her say it to at least 4 or 5 seperate people over the phone it was just an outright lie, they were also trying to force the nurse on people who wanted to see the doctor , to the point that me and another patient who specifically asked to she a doctor got called in by the nurse and then had to come out and go back in with the doctor like we had previously asked for. There is some really good receptionists who work here however on this day it was a absolute disgrace it is not a receptionist job to decide if a doctor is too busy or not, to lie to people or to ignore people requests and book them in with nurses when they have asked to see a doctor. Disgusting.
This surgery penalises the people who work 9 till 5. If you work it's impossible to get to see anyone. My daughter was told by receptionist if it's that important you would not be able to go to work? Also if you have poorly children you are told to go to surgery at 8.30 am but on most occasions will not get seen until 11.am as the queue outside the surgery is horrendous. Who wants to stand in a queue and then wait for hours with a sick child. This is a disgrace
