I will try and keep this brief! My Volvo was losing power and the engine management light appeared on the dash. Rybrook Volvo told me I needed a new head gasket, replacement pump hose and other things that amounted to an awful lot of money!! Volvo have tried to mug me off many times in the past, one example would be telling me I needed 4 new tyres when brand new ones were fitted the week before, so not trusting them I decided to take my car to Tip Top for a second opinion. I've used Tip Top in the past for various body work (I like to reverse into things!), and have always been so impressed with how my car comes away looking brand new again. Paul kindly fitted me in right away and within minutes found the issue being a split hose, repaired it and the car is good as new. No new head gasket required, no replacement hose needed, no massive labour charges, and he found no other issues at all with the car when carrying out a thorough test. What a relief! Paul, Pam and the team are a polite, honest, professional, reliable and helpful bunch, who always go the extra mile to help a customer. I will never trust another garage with our cars again and I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you again Tip Top!
